Community Support Worker with a Specialization in Mental Health Diploma

The Community Support Worker diploma program provides knowledge and skills for a wide variety of community settings. Graduates can provide services, assistance, or personal care to clients with various needs – in child and youth programs, home support for Elders, social service after school programs, and much more. This customized program also includes specialized training to support mental health for the clientele.

Courses in the program include life span stages and development, an introduction to mental health and to psychology, person centered planning and care, and pharmacology and medication management.
